New York, New York!!
While at the show we met an amazing woman who offered to take us hiking in the Adirondack Mountains. We of course took her up on the offer, spending the next day deep in conversation & connection. On our way up to the peak of Bald Mountain, we saw a man with one leg making this same journey- we were SO proud of him and grateful he allowed us to share the photo!
Meeting Brad Paisley!
Read that dialogue as fast as you can & imagine having your picture taken in the middle of it- that was the experience! Six seconds of pure bliss. You can tell Brad is a genuine guy who's down to earth and kind. I left that experience having a better understanding of how I need to treat people and to never forget the people who have gotten you to where you are. I'm so incredibly grateful for the experience & the photo to prove it all happened!
Why haven't you gone on The Voice?
I'm sure the road that I am traveling will be much longer than the ten years I've already been walking the path to "overnight success", but once I get there I believe I'll feel fulfillment rather than fame + authenticity rather whiplash.
